The Revolutionists is a bold, clever, comedic, and poignant play set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror. We open with an unlikely meeting between four real and fictional women: playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte  Corday, Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle, and Queen Marie Antoinette. Despite their wildly different backgrounds, they find unexpected common ground in their shared pursuit of justice, truth, and lasting impact.
