What is UACT doing to keep Covid at bay at the theatre?

Your safety is our #1 priority at UACT. We want you to feel safe from the moment you walk through the doors, sit in your seats, enjoy a drink during intermission, and exit the theatre after an entertaining evening. Here are some safety guidelines and new policies we've implemented to assure your safety:

  • All seats will be assigned, keeping groups six feet apart.

  • Due to the limited tickets, refunds or exchanges will not be permitted.

  • Tickets will be available for purchase by phone or at the UACT box office.

  • Hand sanitizer will be available throughout theatre.

  • To prevent patrons from congregating in the lobby, the theatre will open 30 minutes prior before the show time AND the auditorium will open at the same time.

  • ALL patrons are required to wear masks in the theatre at all times. There are no exceptions.

  • Only 2 patrons are allowed in the restrooms at a time.

  • During intermission, staff will encourage patrons not to gather in the lobby and encourage using the outdoors as an alternative.

  • Upon exiting, staff will assist as to prevent groupings. This will be explained before every performance.

  • All areas of the theatre will be sanitized before every production, including seats, restrooms, high traffic areas, surfaces, etc.

  • UACT staff and volunteers will wear masks.

  • UACT staff and volunteers who handle food, drinks, or money will wear masks and gloves.

If you have any concerns, please let us know.
